My White Rabbit

Do you have a rabbit at your home? I have a white rabbit in my backyard. I love the white. Therefore, when buying this rabbit, I chosen a white one. For three times a week, I clean mine so that the hair remains white and clean.

Physically, he is kind of Australian rabbit which has a thick hair, red eyes, and a big body. He is the only Australian rabbits that I have. I bought at a price which was not too expensive. I remember the time that I bought with the price of Rp. 200,000.

What about his body? You will see that the body is so great and is different from the rabbits in general. Australian rabbit’s body may have two to three times bigger than Indonesian. I’ve seen my rabbit standing, and it is amazing. His body is quite large and exceeding the high of a standing rooster.

Announcement

Announcement is  something said, written, or printed which is containing information about an event that has happened or is going to happen. The purpose is informing something to public. Announcement can be spoken (oral) or written.

•   Spoken announcement usually begins with saying “ATTENTION, PLEASE” or anything like that. In spoken announcement, you should speak clearly so that the targeted people can easily understand it. Besides, the information should be short and simple.

• Written announcement usually begins with the title or for whom the announcement is written.

Example of written announcement :

To: all students of class 7A

The speaking test will be held on:

Day: Tuesday

Date: September 4, 2012

Time: 07.00 - 09.30

Place: media room

The structure of announcement :

1. The title/type of event;
2. For whom;

4. Contact person/from whom.  

Note:

The followings are some useful tips in writing an announcement:

 •    write your announcement to be straightforward and concise so the reader can get  the infor-

     mation quickly and be able to refer to it easily;

 •    if making a positive announcement, keep it short, inviting, and to the point;

 •    demonstrate your desire to maintain a personal or business relationship, and to build morale,

     con dence, loyalty, goodwill;

 •    if announcing or recognizing the achievements of others, you can, if you write correctly, mo-

    tivate others to achieve the same objectives.

 •    make the information in your announcement clear and complete, so you are not bombarded

     with questions later; and

 •    if you are announcing bad news, make a direct, no-nonsense statement. Temper the announce-

     ment with understanding and optimism. Your tone should be considerate and respectful.

Apa kabar ? Apa kau masih sama seperti yang dulu ? baik – baik saja kan ?
Masa Laluku, ingatkah kau aku pernah memujamu ? aku pernah mengagumimu.
Kau masih mengingatnya bukan ?

Masa laluku, kau memang indah, sangat indah, namun itu pada masanya, masa lalu-lalu berarti dulu-dulu berarti lampau-lampau berarti yang telah terlewati.
Telah terlewati, itu berarti kau ada di belakang sekarang. Aku telah berlalu darimu, aku melewatimu dengan segala pernik perasaan di dada ini.

Masa laluku, maaf kini aku tak mengindahkanmu, kau telah berlalu dan aku telah memutuskan untuk beranjak dari keindahan itu.

Ingatlah semua itu, ada baiknya kau tak lagi mengejarku. Pilihlah jalanmu sendiri, kau boleh berbelok ke kanan atau ke kiri, kau boleh menikung, tapi kau harus berhenti saat lampu merah menyala, kau tau aturan kan ? aku yakin kau pintar.

Jika kau masih terpuruk dengan keadaan ini, sekali lagi duhai masa laluku, coba ingatlah saat kau belum mengenalku ! itu saja.
